Scientists showcased their winning visualizations of the electronic guts of a cell phone, atomic structure and DNA architecture at WBEZ on Tuesday. These were the top picks of Northwestern University's annual science image competition, "Capturing the Beauty of Science." Science in Society hosts the contest that offers researchers a chance to share and celebrate the art of science through images that bring a creative and visual interpretations to scientific materials and technology. The winning images go on exhibit May 4 at the Harold Washington Library.
