The cost of climate change
Climate change is a politically charged topic, both in Washington and in Chicago. As the Obama administration pushes forward an EPA-enforced 30 percent cut in carbon dioxide emissions by the year 2030, legislators, industry leaders, and members of the public are vocalizing polarizing concerns about how the mandate will affect jobs, the survival of towns built around coal power plants, and the overall economy while considering changing weather patterns and the sustainability of the environment.
