Robin Amer is a multimedia reporter based in Chicago. Much of her work deals with the complex lives of post-industrial cities. Her work has aired on WBEZ, Marketplace, Re:Sound and other outlets, and has been recognized by the Society for Professional Journalists and the Chicago Headline Club. Robin was a producer at WBEZ for six years, where she helped the station chart new ground in multimedia and digital audio production. Before that, she worked a producer for the public radio show Open Source and as a freelance reporter in Providence, Rhode Island. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in Art Semiotics, and is currently a McCormick Tribune Leadership Scholar at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
